historical film footage ?
So when u see historical footage, for example when Senator John McCain was in prison, etc, who took the photos? Or when we saw a ship at sea sinking 50 years ago, for example, who was there photographing?

there were lots of foreign journalists in hanoi as well as during WWII.sometimes the ships were filmed by a nearby ship by ordinary seamen.
