harbor cove beach
Italian beach requests?

My family and I want to go to the Italian Riviera. There are different beaches there (listed below). If you’ve been to any can you tell me about it (is there swimming, etc.) and any recommendations.

Liguria (Italian Riviera)
The western Riviera di Ponente (Riviera of the Setting Sun) from the French border to Genoa boasts resort towns and wide sandy beaches. The eastern Riviera di Levante (Riviera of the Rising Sun) from Genoa to Portovenere boasts small coves and rocky cliffs.

* Cinque Terre – includes the villages of Monterosso, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore and Vernazza
* Lerici – public beaches and the private Eco del Mare
* Levanto – cove located just north of Cinque Terre
* Portofino – beautiful yachting harbor
* Rapallo – rocky beaches offer boat trips to Cinque Terre and Portofino
* San Remo – beaches, a casino, a race track and a golf course
* Santa Margherita Ligure – on a beautiful road
* Sestri Levante – sandy beaches

Well, i live in Genoa so these are the beaches where i usually go!
The best one is Cinque Terre, i love them! And if you like to walk there is a wonderful walk called ‘Via dell’amore’ (Love street).
Portofino is beautiful too, but it’s quite expensive but it’s grat and you should go there (there is also a boat that carry you there and before it carry you to San Fruttuoso di Camogli that is a beautiful little beach and if you’re lucky you could see dolphins and sometimes little sharks (they’re really small).
Santa Margherita and Rapallo’s beaches are almost the same, they’re rocky but usually the sea it clean (it’s cleaner in santa margherita).
These are the best…but there are more, like Camogli, Moneglia, Cogoleto, Arenzano,Varazze,Pegli and so on!

If you need some more advices let me know!
