Help with a story? (Sailing)?
So I’m writing a story and I want to have a part where the two main characters go sailing. They rent a boat out for like a half day cruise type thing. So I know nothing about sailing!
Can anyone tell me either a video or website that can help or just tell me how to do it?
Like I need what to do with the ropes and sails and what not. Thanks!
People say the best way to write is to read. So I would recommend reading some books by Arthur Ransome, which are nearly all about sailing. It’ll help to see how he writes about the boats in a book.
