EPA files complaint does not lead to the distribution of leaflets

Protection U.S. Environmental Agency has recently filed a complaint against the manager of the National Heritage Enterprises, Inc. and owner of MA No. 2, LLC, Springfield, Massachusetts. The complaint asserts that these objectives violated federal law Lead Disclosure Rule when they disclose information about lead paint to tenants who rent between June 2004 and January 2005. The EPA is seeking a fine of $ 11,000 per violation for 30 violations of the rule of disclosure.

Please remember to provide EPA's pamphlet Renovate Right renovation projects in housing before 1978, which can be downloaded in various places on the Internet, such as www.buildindiana.org (select the codes and laws, and select the rule EPA Lead Information.)

Also, make sure that the purchase contracts, leases, land contracts and other similar documents comply with this law.

Most states have trade groups, such as real estate professionals, offering formal agreements. These agreements almost universally Lead direction. But what if you hire an agent or property manager to manage a property for you? In If so, make sure the agent or manager property is legal. It will not be a defense to a complaint or claim (or administrative) you hire an agent and are more active in real estate. If you own a property, you must respect the law.
